Learn Visual Basic

This site has got a number of lessons which you can follow to learn the fundamentals of Visual Basic and was setup to encourage schools in the UK to teach Computing at High School. It has been developed by members of the Norfolk Computing At Schools Hub and you can find our site at www.groupspaces.com/ncas.
If you are in the UK and are interested in teaching Computing in your school - please go to Computing At School (www.computingatschool.org.uk).
The course is designed to be free for students and teachers. It uses Visual Studio 2010 Express which is
available to download free from the Microsoft Website.
Students can use the courses on this site free of charge. Teachers can download the materials for the classes - again free of charge but please register to do so. We promise not to spam you or give your details to anyone else but it will be useful to get your contact details so we can let you know if anything in the course changes.
Particularly, it is aimed at helping ICT teachers learn the fundamentals of computer programming - sufficient to teach the programming examples of the OCR Computing GCSE.
